Etisalat censoring websites

Today there are a lot of people who use the internet and some of them use the internet not for information but for seeing some naked pictures. This essay will discuss the pros and cons of media control in the UAE.

There are many pros for Etisalat to open the blocked sites. The important point is that mostpeople download some chat programs to connect with them family or with your relatives. For example , me and my cousin download a  proxy to download the program and then we connect together. Another important point is that will let many people make friends. Likewise , people can see banned site if they have satellite phones.

On the other hand , there are many cons for Etisalat blocking the websites. The most important point is that will cause problems in family because there are a lot of dirty websites. For example , nowadays there are a lot of teenagers searching for dirty websites. Another important point is that will save our morals , from being influenced . Also , this will support our  culture from being lost.

In conclusion , these are the pros and cons of media control in the UAE. In my opinion we should block the websites because our children and teenagers need to be protected from bad influences.

Examination / argument

Today most people have examinations at the HCT. In this essay I will discuss both sides pros and cons whether examinations are an unfair way of assessment and should not be used at the HCT.

First , some believe that this is not a fair way of giving grades since students should be graded on their classroom assignments. Another point is that they cause nervousness and the tests don’t fulfill the propose as students get lower grades because they feel unwell. Also , some exams are poorly written and are culturally biased against non-western students. For example, some exams written by western teachers  for a western audiences are biased and non-westerners  will score lower due to this bias.

On the other hand , the most important point is that a test is fair because all students have thesame test , and are assessed equally. For example, when you have a test you will improve what you learned about the subject and it will help you in the future. Another point is that a test is a good way to determine what students have learned in the course. For example, this way will help all students in the future and to get a better life. Also, this will encourage students to work harder and will give them good feedback on their understanding of the subject.

In conclusion, these are both sides pros and cons  about examinations. In my opinion, testing is a good way to improve your language if it’s an English test and to help you in the future.
